iPower CEO Named Finalist in Women in Technology Leadership Awards
iPower LLC is pleased to announce that our CEO Deborah Hunt has been named as a finalist in the Corporate Small-Market Sector category for the 2023 Women in Technology (WIT) Leadership Awards. Deborah Hunt started iPower LLC as a Woman-Owned small business in 2001 and since that time, she has personally led the company as the firm has completed highly successful contracts and provided valuable services for more than 21 years to over 150 government, commercial, and nonprofit entities. Under Deb's leadership, iPower has sustained stable growth by successfully supporting clients in areas such as contracts and acquisition, finance and budget management, program management, administrative support, information technology management, strategic planning, business process improvement, performance management, quality assurance, earned value management, biometrics, cybersecurity and training services.
Over the past year, Deb has served as an industry leader in shepherding the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) standard for DoD contractors. As a key member of the ACT-IAC Cyber Initiative in 2021, and a current member of the ISACA/CMMI Institute and the Cyber Community of Interest, Deb works with both industry and government stakeholders to develop the implementation methodologies and approaches to support the DIB sector. She became one of 72 qualified assessor candidates chosen from a pool of 500+ national applicants to attend the first CMMC Provisional Assessor Program and she is now one of an elite group of provisional lead assessors.
