iPower is pleased to announce the award of a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) for Strategic Planning, Facilitation Services and Training. iPower is one of four awardees announced following a competitive bid with more than 15 bidders. Debbie is one of the Seventy-two (72) qualified assessor candidates from a pool of over 500 across the country selected to be “Provisional Assessors”. This initial group will be able to participate in assessing companies involved in DOD’s pathfinder contracts — the initial contracts with CMMC language in them that will test the program before it becomes a requirement. As Chief Executive Officer and President of iPower LLC, Deborah Hunt oversees company operations and provides program management and process improvement services. Previously, Vice President/Director for an IT Consulting and Integration Company. With over 30 years of successful managerial and technical experience, Ms. Hunt performs with highly effective management and technical skills. As a certified ISACA CMMI Institute V2.0 Lead Appraiser and a Project Management Professional (PMP) she has demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources to organize, direct, and coordinate production plans for service delivery. She has provided systems engineering, survivability, and cost/benefit analysis in support of Government and commercial programs. Prior to founding iPower, Ms. Hunt contributed significant recommendations in the area of emerging high-speed network technologies and standards and their implications to the National Security and Emergency Preparedness, she assisted the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in supporting the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Satellite Communications Network Architecture and Capacity Analyses and was a contributing author to a variety of telecommunications and satellite architectures and their components. This summer, Christian will be assisting our team with an array of duties, ranging from business development, custom reporting, metrics dashboards and other business operations.Christian is currently attending Virginia Tech with a concentration in Industrial Systems Engineering and a minor in business. He plans to graduate in Spring of 2021 and is aiming to pursue work in business development or as a systems analyst. In his free time Christian enjoys seeking out new investment strategies and taking part in any activities which involve his friends.

During her time at Virginia Tech, Naomi has been an active member with the Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad where she has volunteered since high school and is currently a participant in Virginia Tech's Washington Semester program. Naomi is excited to be joining Deloitte's team in Austin, TX this fall, where she will begin her career as a Cyber Risk Consultant.

iPower has been awarded a CMMI support contract from ASRC Federal, a holding company headquartered in the DC metropolitan area that provides a broad range of services to federal civilian, intelligence and defense agencies.

iPower has been awarded the Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC), a ten-year multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle that supports the acquisition of information technology (IT) services across all components of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and all Health and Human Services (HHS) Operating Divisions. iPower maintains its CMMI for Services Maturity Level 2 rating after another successful SCAMPI A appraisal in June of 2016. This is the third time that iPower has achieved an ML2 rating, dating back to July of 2010. CMMI for Services provides a basis for an organization to deliver services within an organization and to external customers. iPower would like to acknowledge all staff that worked tirelessly over the last few months to plan and organize this successful SCAMPI appraisal.

iPower has been awarded a contract to support the DoD Joint Staff Comptroller (JSC) to provide acquisition management support. The JSC manages all financial resources allocated to the Joint Staff, to include funding provided by other agencies and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). The JSC also is the primary advisor to the Director of the Joint Staff and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for financial and acquisition matters.

iPower has been awarded a contract to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Sentinel program as a sub to NOBLIS, a non-profit research corporation headquartered in Virginia. The Sentinel program is a software case management system developed by the FBI to provide management for cases, records, tasks, workflows, collected items, as well as search and reporting capabilities.

iPower has entered into a subcontract agreement with Group Health Incorporated (GHI) to provide the Benefits Coordination & Recovery Center (BCRC) Program with CMMI and Compliance-based support. The GHI BCRC consolidates the activities that support the collection, management, and reporting of other insurance coverage for Medicare beneficiaries.

iPower has been awarded a 3-year contract by Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide program support to NITAAC (NIH Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center) at their offices in North Bethesda/Rockville. NITAAC is a full-service acquisition program that has been designated a federal Executive Agent, authorized by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to administer three Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) for information technology (IT) acquisitions.
